One of the best thing about GOW3 is it's game format. Just like the first two installment game play, Kratos actions, movements, fight style, and mannerisms are seemly unchanged . If your new to GOW3 then picking up on how the controller work is not to hard to learn. One you figure out witch button to hit and after a hour or a day you will be slashing and hacking your way any and every thing. For the die hard that played God of War 1, and 2 then its like riding a bike. There are some new wrinkles like grabbing spartan zombies and running with them in your arms and throwing them or launching your blade at an enemy to bring him closer to you for a shoulder block are a view new things to look for.
But for the most part every thing is the same and thats a good thing. If it worked for 1 and 2 then why change it. Add to it but leave the formula a loan if it brought you success. The same Ole same ole for Kratos is what makes this game great!! In fact it seems that game player gets more emotionally evolved with Kratos character and feel his pain or for Kratos his anger.
